In July 2022, the 450th anniversary of the Battle of Molodinsk was celebrated. Its significance for the history of Russia cannot be overestimated, it is no less than the significance of the battle of Kulikovo Field.
In July 1572, near the banks of the Molodi River near the modern city of Serpukhov, a 25-thousandth Russian army was incredibly able to defeat the Crimeans numbering up to 100,000 soldiers.
